Body of youth recovered

NAGAON, April 24: Sensation prevailed in Nagaon on Monday morning after the body of a local youth of Nonoi Birahigaon village under Nonoi Police Station was recovered. According to sources, the youth has been identified as Ghanshyam Sarma (37) of Nonoi Birahigaon. The sources further added that the youth was missing from a Bihu function held at Nonoi Birahigaon. On Monday morning his body was seen by some local people near the site of the Bihu function and they informed the local police. Nonoi Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the youth. The deceased had some cut spot near his neck and it is suspected that he might have been murdered. Police have started investigation.
