Body recovered

Hojai, February 10: The body  of Shioti Devi Das (55) was found  in a sugarcane field on Tuesday morning at Lampathar under Kheroni Police Station in West Karbi Anglong district. The body was found hanging from a tree. Suicide has been suspected. Shioti Devi, wife of Shivmangak Chauhan of Bagishadubi, had gone missing since Monday evening. As the local people informed  Kheroni police outpost, police rushed  to the spot and sent the body to Diphu for postmortem.
