Bongaigaon town committee formed

 Bongaigaon, April 4:  The elected members of Asom Ga Parishad (AGP), which won the Town Committee elections on April 2 last, formed the new town committee here today. The committee was formed in a programme in the presence Bongaigaon Deputy Commissioner (DC) Biswajit Pegu.  The AGP, which won 19 out of the 25 seats in the recently concluded civic polls of Bongaigaon town committee, selected Dipu Choudhury as chairman and Uday Das as the vice-chairman of the committee. DC Pegu administered the oath of office.
