Border row: tiol delegation team formed

GOLAGHAT, APRIL 5: A tiol delegation team was formed today at Golaghat to press the Government of solving the longstanding Assam-galand border conflict. Team was formed in a meeting held at Golaghat Press Club here with the representatives of AASU, AJYCP and AASA besides the representatives from various media houses. The meeting also decided to organize a convention in Guwahati in this regard. Mr Sanjib Kumar Phukan, Executive Editor, The Sentinel and Prakash Mahanta, senior jourlist of Asomiya Pratidin have been given the responsibility for organizing the meeting in Guwahati. A committee titled-Assam-galand Border Security Demand Committee-was also formed with Jourlist Dwipen Dutta as chief convener.
