Boundary wall of crematorium in Tezpur handed over and inaugurated by Red Horns Division

Tezpur: In continuation with the endeavour to reach out to the less privileged populace of Harigaon village , the Red Horns Division handed over the boundary wall constructed around a crematorium at Harigaon, Tezpur, under Op Sadbhavana Project 2018-19. The inauguration of the project was done on Monday.

The boundary wall at Harigaon is a humane gesture of goodwill from the armed forces and will facilitate the villagers with better infrastructure facilities by segregating the crematorium from the nearby cultivated areas and promoting harmonious relations between the local populace and the Indian Army deployed in Sonitpur district. Gaon buras, village secretaries and villagers of the nearby villages, officers and troops of the Red Horns Division were also part of the inauguration programme.
