Boy found hanging from tree

SHILLONG, May 27: A 16-year-old boy was found hanging from a tree, who was abducted on Thursday evening from Horipur village, near Rajabala in West Garo Hills. The victim identified as Joshibur Rahman had passed the SSLC examition, the result of which was declared on Wednesday. Residents of the village informed that the boy went missing on Thursday evening and his body was found hanging from a tree on Friday. Meanwhile, West Garo Hills Superintendent of Police Mukesh Singh said that all efforts are being made to find the person involved in the crime and arrest the culprit. The family members of the boy have lodged an FIR at Rajabala police outpost.
