BSU fetes meritorious students at Khoirabari

TANGLA, June 19: The Bodoland Students’ Union (BSU), Khoirabari Block committee, in collaboration with NRDS Junior College organized a felicitation ceremony for the meritorious students who passed this year’s HSLC and HS exam with flying colours, on Sunday at Mahiranga Fauthisali Bhavan, Khoirabari.

Rishi Ram Boro presided over the programme which was attended by Saptati Endow, the Assistant Commissioner of Bhergaon subdivision, as chief guest. In her speech she exhorted the student community to dream big and work hard to be successful in life.

Earlier, Sakha Ram rzary, the Vice-Principal of NRDS Junior College explained the purpose of the meeting. BTC EM Lmshraw Daimary was also present on the occasion as distinguished guest. Haran Deka rji, the Principal of Khoirabari College and many other social workers and parents of the students were present on the occasion.

A total 100 first division holders in HSLC and 50 first division holders in HS were felicitated.
