Buildings in Golaghat develop cracks after tremor

GOLAGHAT, Jan 4: The earthquake measuring 6.7 in the Richter Scale which hit the Northeast on Monday morning, damaged some buildings in Golaghat district. In various places of the district, houses and property were found damaged.  The building of the District Judicial Court has been damaged. The wall of the building has developed cracks. Same is the case in the house of the owner of Radha Pharmacy, Golaghat district AASU office, Hotel Choraideo and the house of a resident of Santipur area. But no loss of life has been reported.
