Businessman’s house robbed, Joysagar

JOYSAGAR: In a robbery incident that took place in the Sepon daily bazaar area on Friday night, local businessman Paran Gupta’s house was.

While the Gupta family was asleep, about 5-6 robbers armed with sharp weapons and with their faces covered, looted about Rs 5.80 lakh cash as well as gold ornaments.

Besides, two family members, including businessman Paran, received injuries when they tried to stop the robbers. Sepon (Sivasagar) Police arrived and started an investigation but are yet to nab the robbers.
