Byatikram MASDO Organizing A Step Further Towards Women Empowerment

GUWAHATI: Byatikram MASDO has been organizing an innovative activity “Byatikram Face of the month” under its long-run social venture "Respect Womanhood". This activity has completed its seventh edition at Guwahati Press Club on Thursday where eminent singer Dr Sangeeta Kakati was felicitated by Byatikram MASDO in association with Everyday Salt. Byatikram has planned to organize the show on every month starting from August 2018 to July 2019 under the Campaign of Respect Womanhood, which will be a yearlong event.

Receiving the felicitation, Dr Sangeeta Kakati stated that “the initiative taken by Byatikram is indeed a commendable step and this will also inspire all the ladies to work hard”. This recognition would inspire me to work more dedicatedly for all the social causes that I have been working with till date”.

Dr Saumen Bharatiya, President, Byatikram MASDO exclaimed, “We are really pleased and happy to have Dr Sangita Kakati among us and we got the opportunity to hear about her inspiring story.” Before Dr Sangeeta Kakati, Byatikram had felicitated Aparjita Das Barua, an Assamese Jewellery Designer, Ranjana Poddar Bhajanka, a landscape designer, Banshree Gogoi, An Advocate, Sangeeta Chaudhury, A Fashion Pageant Winner , Jhanabi Phookan , an entrepreneur and Medha Aich an upcoming Bollywood Actress among us.
