CA students' convention ends

GUWAHATI, June 26: The two-day tiol convention for chartered accountant students that started at Pragjyoti ITA Centre of Performing Arts, Machkhowa in the city concluded today.

During the convention papers on intertiol fincial control, IND AS, Make in India, CARO, Start up Companies, Taxation of e-commerce, Impact GST etc., were submitted by students and CAs as well.

The convention was marked by the presence of ICAI vice president CA Nilesh S Vikamsey, ICAI Board of Studies Chairman Babu Abraham Kallivayalil, vice president Dhiraj Khandelwal and others.

Talking to newsmen later, CA Nilesh S Vikamsey said: “It takes just Rs 50,000 to do CA course. However, a CA can change the entire family. We’re on drive to attract students to CA sources.”
