Career counselling and personality development programme held in Gaurisagar

GAURISAGAR: Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Gaurisagar organized a day-long programme on career counseling and personality development for the students of Class X of 20 educational institutions under Sivasagar Songkul. In this connection an inaugural function was held. Padmaluchan Goswami, president of SMC, chaired it. Dr. Pranabjyoti Chetia, in-charge of Jorhat Science Centre and Planetarium and Dipankar Chakravorty, lecturer, DEIET, Sivasagar took part as resource persons.

The resource persons urged upon the students to determine the right track of their life from childhood. They said that there was no shortcut to success and that hard work, punctuality and dedication were the keys to success in life. A total of 400 students of Class X hailing from various institutions of Sankardev Sishu Niketan in Sivasagar Songkul took part in the programme and exchanged their views with the resource persons.
