Centerian passes away

TINSUKIA, Feb 16: Ta Muj, a centerian and legendary figure breathed his last on Tuesday at his tive village Laptap under Toru circle of Papum Pare district in Aruchal Pradesh after a prolonged illness coupled with old-age related diseases. He was 127 at the time of his death according to records maintained by the family.  His mortal remains were buried in a marvelously built pre-death memorial tomb constructed by his daughters. Ta Muj immensely contributed to the growth and development of the then NEFA and Aruchal Pradesh as councilor and thereafter. Muj had seven wives of which he leaves behind four wives, 13 sons, 13 daughters, grand and great grand children.
