Cheques of pending salary distributed to N C Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) employees

Haflong: A ceremonial distribution of cheques for 10 months pending salary to employees of the normal sector of N C Hills Autonomous Council (NCHAC) was held at the Tennis ground of Autonomous Council, Haflong on Friday. The programme was organized by the council authority in association with Autonomous Council Employees’ Union. During the ceremony, Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Executive Member of the council, said that it was a red letter day in the history of the NC Hills Autonomous Council, Haflong. He also asked all employees of the NCHAC to abstain from corruption in order to avoid financial crisis in future. Speaking on the occasion, local MLA BB Hagjer, NCHAC chairperson Ranu Langthasa and EM Samuel Changsan thanked CEM Debolal Gorlosa for solving this burning problem of the council and also talked about ways and means of enhancing revenue of the council from rs 17 crore to Rs 32 crore during the financial year 2018-19.
