Chief Minister Pema Khandu Inaugurates SE WRD Office at Jamiri

JAMIRI: Amidst huge public gathering, in presence of MoS for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and BJP President Tapir Gao, Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated Superintendent Engineer Office for Water Resource Department (WRD) at Jamiri circle of 6th Thrizino Buragaon Assembly Constituency on Thursday.

Congratulating the people of the Jamiri circle Khandu appraised that an amount of 6crore was invested to construct SE office building. The office has larger compound area with staff and SE quarter.

While appreciating the good quality work by the WRD department Khandu said, with good intention comes great work. Likewise every individual, officers and ministers should set an example for the youths and bring a sense of competition among in the field of development and social up gradation.

He also informed that under his leadership the ‘Team Arunachal’ has brought reformation in various sector. “There will be problems at the initial stage to accept the reformation but we have to do because it’s not for individual benefit but for the state and its people,” Khandu added.

Khandu requested the denizens of the circle to keep the office and the surroundings clean and in proper shape. “Many times it has been practically witnessed that after the inauguration of an office there is lots of dirt within the office added with broken glass and other structure,” he said.

Rijiju in his speech said that the establishment of SE, WRD at Jamiri will now bring infrastructure development and lessen transportation problem to capital as all work related to WRD for the western district will be done here.

Stressing on thinking global Rijiju asked the concerned representative of the entire district to work for the development of state besides being inclusive for own district.

He also said that as the SE office has been established here there will be need of various infrastructures for lodging. Thus he suggested establishing a tourist as well as other lodges for people visiting place for official work.

He also assured to look into the memorandum submitted for the construction of Multi Purpose mini stadium at Jamiri in the next financial year with consultation with CM Pema Khandu.

Local representative of the constituency Kumsi Sidisow expressing heartfelt thanks to the ministers, HoDs and invitees from Itanagar informed that it was first time in 30 years that so many representative and Minister had gathered all together in the Jamiri circle.

Expressing his vision to the gathering Sidisow said that, it’s my vision to bring 100 percent completion of all the basic needs like education, water, medical, home and road for the people of my constituency.

He also said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, MoS for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju and BJP president Tapir Gao the constituency is developing in every sector.

Meanwhile Aka Elite Society (AES) submitted memorandum to the Chief Minister for establishing a centrally sponsored education institute bin the constituency, Multi Purpose mini stadium at Jamiri, to create Buragaon as Sub Division, to sanction some more amount for the need of materials in the newly inaugurated SE office added with few more.
