Chief Minister Pema Khandu meets Major General RK Jha

Itanagar: Chief Minister Pema Khandu met Major General RK Jha, GOC 5 Mountain Division Tenga here to discuss on carrying forward the mission to build and maintain harmonious relation between the public and the Army on Sunday.

In a brief meeting held, Khandu discussed the upcoming recruitment rally being organized for the Arunachali youths in the Indian Army. He urged the Army to carry out awareness drive for youths on building career in the Armed Forces. He also discussed celebrations of the upcoming 10th Annual Maitree Diwas, a civil-military festival to be held on December 1 and 2 in Tawang. Both further discussed job opportunities available with the Indian Army and on the scope of recruitment for Arunachali girls as officers.
