Children's Day observed

 TINSUKIA, Nov 14: Children’s Day, the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, was celebrated with fanfare at Makum Boys Residential Training Centre here by Surjaday, a local organization in association with Assam Dental Association’s Tinsukia branch today.  An awareness meeting was organized on the occasion which was presided over by Bhumidhar Das. As a part of the programme, a health check up camp was also organized. Free medicines were distributed in the camp.
