Chopper makes emergency landing

Itagar, Sept 15: A chopper of Skyone airlines with eight persons on board including six crew members has to make an emergency landing at Assam’s gaon district today following a technical sg. The MI-172 helicopter which took off from Guwahati to Itagar at around 10.30 AM had to make emergency landing after minutes of flying, State Civil Aviation department officer N C Chakap said here. The helicopter landed safely at Nehrubali helipad in gaon district, he said adding, the authorities of the airliners informed the department about the incident verbally without elaborating on the ture of the technical sg develop in the chopper. The gaon district administration had arranged a vehicle for the two passengers for Itagar, he said and added that a technical team from Guwahati arrived to the site to rectify the sg.
