Chotto Prochesta on a heart winning spree at Silchar

Silchar: The members of the NGO Chotto Prochesta came out in the streets and literally begged for money with which they will buy warm clothes for the underprivileged, poor and downtrodden people who find it hard to get food, clothing and shelter.

Around 60 volunteers of Chotto Prochesta in three separate groups begged from people in the areas of Rangirkhari, Sonai road and Hailakandi road in Silchar. The efforts of the NGO have received kind and warm greetings from people from all quarters.

For the last few years, they have been taking some noble initiatives and distributing blankets and warm clothes among the poor so that these poor people can beat the cold. The members of the group did not hesitate at all to beg from people as their motive was to serve the poor and the underprivileged. Poor persons, who have no access to a comfortable life, spend most of their winter nights on footpaths. Some of the volunteers of the NGO included Sunita Sharma Majumdar, Priya Acharjee, Puja Baishya etc.
