Civic action programme organized

SHILLONG, April 7:  As a part of Border Magement Plan, a Civic Action Programme cum free medical camp was organized by the BSF BOP Sibbari Ex -36 Bn in South West Garo Hills on Wednesday, stated a press release. The BSF organized a civic action programme in remote village Sibbari in presence of K S utiyal, 2IC, Offg Comdt 36 Bn BSF. After rigorous exercise more than 12 schools were identified by Border Security Force where school and children needed some up-liftment. Hence stationeries items, books and sports items were distributed to the needy students of these schools in the bordering area of Sibbari. A free medical camp was also organized in the same area. After health checkup, almost 300 patients including men, women   and children were given free medicines by BSF expert doctors to dwelling people in border.
