Civic action programme organized

SHILLONG, Oct 12: As a part of Border Magement Plan, a Civic Action Programme was organized by the Border Security Force at bordering village ljuri in East Khasi Hills district, and Dawki, Pyrdwah West Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya. Sultan Ahmad, DIG, SHQ BSF Jowai iugurated the Civic Action Programme along with D S Rathore, Commandant of 30 Bn BSF at Pyrdwah and Dwaki. The Headman of village Pyrdwah, Dawki and ljuri alongwith teachers, school children and villagers were also present in this programme. Computers, computer chairs & tables and Gym items were distributed to community hall/club of village Pyrdwah for usages of villagers. The statiory & sports items have been distributed to school authority of SFS school Dawki, Sardar Vallabhai Patel Govt school Dawki, Khasipr higher secondary school Dawki, primary school Amlingpiyang and primary school Ronkum.
