Civic polls campaign begins

Guwahati, February 2: Since the BJP has placed strong candidates Sarbanda Sowal, Central Minister for Sports and Youths Affairs, MP Bijoya Chakravorty and State President Siddharth Bhattacharya for the upcoming North Guwahati civic elections, Congress MLA Himanta Biswa Sharma seems to be in a plight. He is making various promises in order to make the Congress regain its lost power. He has made various promises like providing fees to the successful students for higher education. But his promises have failed to attract the people of the locality.
