Civil Service Day observed

KALAIGAON, April 21: The 10th Civil Service Day was observed on Thursday in the Udalguri Deputy Commissioner’s office by the Udalguri district administration. Noted persons like Birubala Rabha and Joyanta Brahma attended as the guest of honour in this programme. On the occasion, an awareness meeting on witch hunting was held where leaders of several organizations took part along with media persons. A documantory film about witch hunting was also screened. Sadha Hojai, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri, spoke at the meeting while Assistant Commissioner Dimpal Baruah anchored the meeting. SP Rakesh Raushan also attended.
