Cleanliness Drive held in Naharlagun

NAHARLAGUN: A one Day Cleanliness Drive was organized on the theme “Cleanliness is next to Godliness “in solidarity with the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Science (TRIHMS) authority to maintain the cleanliness around the hospital campus, National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) here on Saturday.

NPYF State President Bage Kamsi while addressing to the reporters said that, neither they are against the Government nor the hospital administration, but to create a sense of awareness among the People of the state so as to keep the compound clean, Healthy and Hygienic.

Kamsi also appealed the TRIHMS authorities to install CCTV Cameras as precautionary measures to stop spitting of tobacco, Ghutkas and paan on the walls and to take stringent action to the defaulters.

Further, Kamsi while cleaning the toilets appealed the public to keep the hospital toilet clean and found the female ward toilets worse than the rest one.

“Hospital is no less than a Church, Temple, Mosque or any other religious institutions. So it is the moral duty of each and every Denizens of the state to keep the lone government general hospital neat and clean,” Kamsi added.
