Cloudy, chilly Saturday in Delhi, Sunday to be similar

NEW DELHI, Dec 12: The tiol capital experienced a cloudy Saturday and the chilliest day in last four years as winds across the city took the maximum temperature down to 15.7 degrees Celsius, seven notches below average, the met office said. The weather is expected to be similar on Sunday too. “Shallow to moderate fog would occur at many places on Sunday morning and dense fog would be seen at isolated places. The sky is likely to be clear for the rest of the day,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 18 and 10 degrees Celsius respectively.

Saturday’s minimum temperature settled at 11.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season’s average.

Friday’s maximum temperature settled at 22.2 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season’s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 15 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season’s average. (IANS)
