CM clears recruitment of 61 civil service officers

Itagar, May 6: Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday cleared the deck for recruitment of 61 entry-grade civil service officers through Aruchal Pradesh Public Service Commission in a bid to make all administrative headquarters in the state functiol. It is a major move to strengthen the administrative setup in the remotest of places and provide good and effective governce, an official report informed here on Saturday. “The recruitment of regular administrative officers will solve the problems the people have been facing in administrative headquarters. Our government shall post circle officers to take administration closure to the people,” Khandu said. The chief minister maintained that administrative headquarters are created for the convenience of the local populace but due to absence of officers, many far-flung administrative headquarters are non-functiol causing huge inconvenience to the common people. He hoped that with the manning of these administrative headquarters, the government’s delivery system will considerably improve and benefit the people. “Proper monitoring of government programmes will be possible at the grassroots level,” Khandu said.
