CM comes to the aid of ailing AASU leader

PATHSALA, Sept 3: Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal has sanctioned an aid of Rs 80,000 from the CM’s Relief Fund for Sanjib Talukdar, an active AASU leader, a central executive member of the organization and a resident of Uzanuluwa village in Barpeta district, who has been bed-ridden for more than a year due to critical illness.

The cheque in this regard was recently delivered to him at his residence by Phani Pathak, president of Bajali Zila BJP in the presence of local people.

A team of the BJP party workers, including workers of Mahila Morcha, Kisan Morcha, OBC Morcha and Yuba Morcha went to the residence of the ailing leader and handed over the cheque of Rs 80,000. Bajali Zila BJP president Phani Pathak informed that an application regarding his illness was submitted to the Chief Minister.           

Accordingly, the Chief Minister sanctioned the amount. On the occasion, the leader and his parents were felicitated with phulam gamosain the presence of local people.
