College student assaulted in Demow

DEMOW, August 5:  A college student of Demow was assaulted by three miscreants and he was seriously injured. According to the sources, a Class XI student of Demow Junior Commerce College, which is situated in Demow Dehajan, was badly assaulted by three miscreants who came in a motorcycle wearing black helmets. They then left him on the roadside and fled away.

The injured student Dimbeswar Ganju hails from Dhola Barmuwa gaon in Tinsukia district. The miscreants also warned him to leave Demow within 10 days and after that Ganju went to his sister’s house and later lodged an FIR in Demow Police Station.
