College students stage road blockade in Jorhat

Jorhat, June 29: Students of Kendriya Mahavidalaya, Jorhat blocked the busy AT Road at Kenduguri on Monday in protest against water logging problem in their college campus.

They said that the water logging problem had been persisting since the past three years. East Jorhat circle officer Samiran Borah received a memorandum submitted by the agitating students. Meanwhile, the Jorhat regiol student union send a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Jorhat regarding various problems, including the water logging problem in Jorhat town area.
