Congress attacks BJP for price rise, intolerance

MARGHERITA, November 5: Towfik Khan, general secretary of Margherita Block Congress Committee and also the president of Margherita Sub Divisiol Minority Committee, slammed the Prime Minister rendra Modi -led BJP Government at the Centre for not controlling price hike, intolerance and corruption. Khan alleged that Fince Minister Arun Jaitley, whose asset before 2014 Lok Sabha polls was Rs 36 crore, has now increased to Rs 132 crore. “Why is Prime Minister rendra Modi not taking any action against the Fince Minister?” he said. “BJP is doing politics in the me of religion, caste and community and there is growing intolerance in the country,” said Khan. He also appeared confident that in 2016, the Congress would get majority and form the government once again in Assam.
