Congress MDC candidates' meeting held in Shillong

SHILLONG: Victor Keishing, AICC Secretary I/c Meghalaya addressed the meeting of Congress MDC Candidates on 18th January, 2019 chaired by the MPCC President Dr. Celestine Lyngdoh at Congress Bhawan, Shillong. He appealed the candidates to work hard and to serve the best interest of the people. He asked them to vigorously explain the danger and impact of the Policy and Programmes of the BJP Government, an ally of the MDA Government.

Vincent H. Pala spelled out the danger of the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) and its impact on the indigenous people. He reminded that the Village Administrative Bill (VAB) could not be implemented because of the BJP Government's failure. Shri Pala recalled the achievements of the Congress Party and asked them to highlight it before the people.

Other who spoke were Shri H. M. Shangpliang , MLA, Shri P.T.Sawkmie, MLA, AICC Mahila Secretary Smt. Deborah C. Marak , Shri Auguster Jyrwa, Ex-KSU General Secretary, Shri Marbud Dkhar, Ex-Organising Secretary, FKJGP General Body besides Shri Kennedy Khyriem, Shri R.V. Lyngdoh and others. MPCC General Secretary W.K.Kyndiah informed through a press release.
