Congress will form next government in Assam, claims Rajdeep Goala

 SILCHAR, Jan 29: A road construction project was iugurated by Rajdeep Goala, MLA Lakhipur, in Boromamda under the sub-division recently. The project, after its completion, will connect Baromamda water supply scheme plant, also known as zero point, with Rupaibali. The total length of the road project is 460 metre. The project has been sanctioned by Lakhipur Scheduled Caste (SC) Board and the total cost of the project is expected to be Rs. 30 lakh.   Besides, a meeting was also held on the occasion in Boromamda ch ghar which was presided over by Monojit Das, Binkandie Block Congress president.

  Speaking on the occasion, Rajdeep Goala, who was also the chief-guest of the programme, said that the Tarun Gogoi led Congress state government has launched a number of welfare schemes and initiatives for the welfare of SC community. More such initiatives will be launched in the coming months. He also informed that the state government is providing rice at Rs. 3 per kg under the Food Security Card scheme.

  Goala also criticized Bhratiya Janta Party (BJP), All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) and other such commul parties for their divisive politics. He attacked the BJP and AIUDF for trying to divide Assam on commul lines. He said that these anti-tiol parties fails to grasp the fact that Assam has always been a state known for peace and brotherhood among the different communities. The ploy of BJP and AIUDF to commulize and polarize the society will not succeed. The people of Assam know the truth and will never vote for the commul forces.

  He also assured the gathering that the Tarun Gogoi led Indian tiol Congress Party will definitely form the next government. Under the leadership of Tarun Gogoi, the state has progressed tremendously in the past 15 years. The congress party believes in the policy of inclusive development rather than the divisive politics of BJP and AIUDF. He further said that the rendra Modi led NDA Government has been a miserable failure and is trying to hide its failures by giving lame and preposterous excuses.   He cautioned the public not to vote for BJP, AIUDF and other such commul forces. Others who spoke on the occasion included Hareshwer Dhubi, chairman of Lakhipur SC board, senior Congress leaders Jalaluddin Mazumder and Bikram Goala.
