'Construction works will require to get clearance certificate'

SHILLONG, August 10: The sub-divisiol officer (Revenue), Mairang sub-division has asked the villagers of the villages along the NH44 E-Shillong-Nongstoin-Tura road from Mawsawa (Umdishit) to Umjei, to take precautiory measures while considering for construction of a residential building or any other construction along the NH44E. Public intending to construct their residential houses etc along the road are to ensure that the land purposed for such construction is not within the boundary of the government acquired land; to ascertain the position in writing from authority.
