Consultation programme on child rights organized by Sonapur Social Development Society

DEMOW: The Sonapur Social Development Society, an NGO, organized a consultation programme on child rights and child protection issues with student organizations and civil society organizations.

It was supported by the district administration, District Children and Adolescent Cell, Sivasagar. The programme was held at the Demow Multi-Purpose Building on Monday on the topic ‘Stop Child Labour, Stop Child Marriage and Stop Child Trafficking’. The programme was presided over by Mahendra Sarma, Demow Block Elementary Education Officer.

Priyanku Jyoti Sarma, Assistant Commissioner of Sivasagar district, was present in the programme as chief guest. The leaders of local organizations and members of Demow Press Club also spoke in the programme. Monuroma Morang, Demow Circle Officer was also present in the programme.
