Contractors Association stages protest

Dhubri, August 31:Demanding action against the miscreants who assaulted the executive engineer of Water Resouces department in South Salmora area of Dhubri on June 21.The contractors of Dhubri under the banner of Dhubri under the banner of Dhubri Water Resources Contractors Association staged a two hour sit in protest demonstration on Monday.The protestors sent a memorandum to the secretary Water Resource Department seeking his immediate intervention.

It may be mentioned that though it has been more than two months, the police has not yet been able to b the culprits. Earlier it was also alleged that the police was safeguarding the culprits instead of putting them behind the bars.
