BONGAIGAON, Jan 8: The Government Railway Police (GRP) here on Friday arrested a man and a woman, on charges of trafficking four girls including a minor. They were identified as Rabith Basumatary (24) and Basanti Karmakar (22) of Kumarikata are under Tamulpur police station in Baksa district. GRP sources said the girls were being taken to Delhi by in Down Northeast Express train. “The accused had promised them jobs in different firms with decent salaries,” sources said.
