Cross Border Guards Celebrate Friendship Day at Karimganj

Silchar: Rotary Green Land Silchar has shared some lovely moments of friendship on the occasion of Friendship Day on Sunday with the Border Security Forces (BSF) and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at Sutarkandi Border in Karimganj district. The members of the Club tied the friendship bands with the 2nd commandant R P Singh and the entire BSF personnel, Night Subedar Monir Khan and the entire BGB personnel in the border.

Rotary Green Land Club felicitated them with Uttoriyo and mementos. They also distributed sweets among the soldiers. They were also warmly welcomed by both the BSF and the BGB personnel. The Club was represented by Club president Madhumita Paul, programme chairman Ajay Kumar Agarwal, Kanchan Choudhury, assistant governor Zone 11, of the Club among others.
