Crowd enthralled by tiol rock bands

NIT Silchar Tecnoesis'15:

FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT

SILCHAR, Nov 5: The auto-expo of Tecnoesis’15 of NIT Silchar came to an end on Monday with mesmerizing performance of renowned bands including Divine Connection, Girish and the chronicle (GATC), and Sunburn among others who propelled the audience to be on their feet and dance to the rhythm of the beats. The most awaited musical fest, ‘Spark’ of Tecnoesis was a huge draw among the youth of this valley. The line-up treated fans to some of the best in Indian rock, metal and electronic music, while also including just a hint of the region’s musical talent.

Although the chilly weather was a killjoy for a bit, the cold weather meant the fans danced more with the musical beats. The happy festival vibe was evident when over two thousand people were waving their hands in unison. The night was all about celebrating the joy of music. With headliners Sunburn being the main draw, no one was surprised to see the fans cheering for them the loudest.

Metal ruled the roost, whether it was the modern hardcore wackiness of Divine Connection or mind-baffling technical metal edge of GATC. The bands enthralled the crowd with their music. With thousands of people cheering, it was a good enough sign to know that Silchar has proved its worth as one of the most modern music loving places of the region.
