CRPF observe s Valours' Day

GUWAHATI, April 9: The 128 Battalion, CRPF celebrated the Valours’ Day at its battalion headquarters. Valours’ Day, according to a press release, is celebrated in remembrance of an act of unparallel bravery displayed by a small contingent of CRPF personnel, pitted against a full-fledged infantry brigade of Pakistani Army trying to overcome their post at Sardar Post and Tak Post, Raan of Kutch, Gujrat on April 9, 1965. They not only defeated the Pakistani Brigade but also killed 34 enemy soldiers and captured four of them.
