CS fetes meritorious students

mrup, June 16: To accord warm felicitation to at least 80 meritorious students of greater mrup who excelled in the HSLC and HS Examitions this year, mrup Anchalik Chatra Santha (CS) organized a grand felicitation ceremony at BVFC HS School premises recently.

The open session held on the occasion was chaired by Kalpajit Gogoi, president, CS.  Dr Pallabi Deka Bujarbaruah, Professor, Department  of Assamese, Dibrugarh University graced the occasion as the special guest. Dr Jitu Buragohain, Principal, mrup College, Hiranya Hazarika, Principle BVFC HS School, Lima Sebestain , Headmistress, BVFC Model High School and a host of notable dignitaries attended the ceremony as guests. Earlier Mashjyoti Changmai, general secretary of CS explained the objectives of the meeting. Each of the meritorious students was given a citation, book packet, japi and a sapling.

Five rank holder in the HSLC examition  from BVFC Model High School mrup, –Rajashree Das (6th position), Dikha Priam Sonowal (8th position), Gitashri Saikia (15th position), Jerika Baruah (16th position) and  Nilutpal Saikia (19th position) were accorded special felicitation in the ceremony.
