Through planned order, the event was conducted without any misconduct or disrespect towards the great persolity. The students along with the children from the villages of Japoriguri and Morolgaon participated in this event. The step taken by the students clearly reflected the cultural consciousness of the new generation and the bonding of the students hailing from all corners of the State and also beyond, with the local people. The purpose of the activity was to make the people aware of the richness of the Assamese culture and the prevalence of agriculture related fokora-jujos in the language, which have lost their importance with the growing urbanization.
After completion of this event, the students collaborated with the NGO “Okyantik” to bring together a programme which was organized at Balipukhuri Middle English School. Many renowned persons from the locality were present.
