Dagaon High School to hold alumni meet

GUWAHATI, May 15: Not just going to be a gala of get-together and cherish their past experiences, the Alumni Meet of Dagaon High School, which is scheduled on May 18, will also mark the historic day with series of events like a seminar, a plantation drive, laying of the foundation stone of the School’s auditorium followed by a musical night where Zubeen Garg will trill the audience.

The Dagaon High School, located under Kamalpur Legislative Assembly Constituency in Kamrup district, will hold a seminar on the theme “Present Education Scenario”. The Srimanta Shankardev University Vice Chancellor Prof Kandarpa Kumar Deka will enlighten the august gathering by delivering his special lecture on the theme. Moreover, the foundation stone of the school auditorium will be laid down by local MLA Satyabrata Kalita. The daylong agenda will also carry out a plantation program, besides other core activities.
