During this period, many important stations like Darjeeling, Ghum, Kurseong, Sonada, Siliguri Town etc have been decorated with LED lighting to make them look attractive. Moreover, Narrow Gauge steam locomotive and rolling stock presently available at Ghum museum have also been decorated. The Tindharia workshop where narrow gauge locomotives and coaches are maintained has been opened for common people to have a glimpse of the activities that are undertaken to keep the service running.
