Death anniversary of Debth Basumatary observed

DIMAKUCHI, Feb 8: The All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) and Bodo community of Dimakuchi recalled martyr and ABSU co-worker Debth Basumatary on his 26th death anniversary at his tomb at Paschimpatala village in Dimakuchi region of Udalguri district  on Tuesday. Martyr Debth Basumatary died on February 7, 1991 in firing by an unidentified miscreant. Manswma Basumatary paid floral tribute to Debth at the martyr tomb. The martyr’s day was organized by Dimakuchi Anchalik Committee, ABSU.  BTC Deputy Speaker Nerswn Boro attended the function and paid floral tribute to Debth. Nerswn said that Debth Basumatary was a good leader.
