Deceased teachers paid tribute

AZARA, Feb 20: A number of deceased and former teachers of the Azara area were remembered by the people of the locality by holding a programme – A bid to Pay Tribute to Teachers – at the community hall here yesterday. The programme was anchored by Swahid Nyas adviser Dr. Gobinda Das. All the deceased teachers of the Azara area were paid tribute at the function. Two teachers – Tarun Chandra Medhi and Dipti Rani Das – were felicitated on the occasion. A book – Gyandip: Dohgoraki Kriti Shikshokor Jibon Gatha – edited by Manoranjan Bhattacharya was released by West Guwahati College Principal Dr. Balendra Kumar Das.
