Deepak Maurya wins gold in U-69kg category

GUWAHATI: Deepak Maurya brought laurels for Guwahati-IIT by winning a gold medal in U-69kg category in weight lifting event of the Inter IIT sports meet held in Guwahati today. In other categories of weight lifting, Jogesh Kumar, Akash Agarwalla and Suraj Yadav won gold for IIT Roorkee , BHU and Kanpur respectively.
