Departmental trainings held in Kohima for Officers and Staff of Chief Engineer’s Office

KOHIMA: Training on Office procedure and Service Establishment for Officers and Staff of Chief Engineer’s Office, Water Resources Department (WRD) under ‘Capacity Building Programme’ was held here recently, stated a DIPR release.

The day-long training was conducted for the Officers and staff of Chief Engineer’s Office, wherein Renchamo Lotha retired Additional Secretary was the Resource Person for the training. The welcome and keynote address was delivered by Er.Tsuktinungsang, Chief Engineer, WRD. There were 44 participants for the training.

The programme was primarily on the guidelines of Office procedure, Service Establishment and other subject matters.

Driving Skills and Etiquette: Classroom training on ‘Driving Skills and Etiquette in two batches for two days was recently conducted for drivers in the Conference Hall of Chief Engineer’s Office wherein Bendang Longchar, Motor Vehicle Officer (MVO) from the Transport department was the resource person. The welcome amd keynote address was delivered by Er. Wapangnaro Imchen, Executive Engineer, Water Resources Department.

Er. Tsuktinungsang, Chief Engineer, Er. Hotovi Ayemi Additional Chief Engineer and Er. Razouvolie Kelio, Superintending Engineer (Water Resources Department) encouraged the drivers to work sincerely and perform well in their duties. Altogether 53 participants from all the divisions attended the training.

Audit and Accounts: A day-long training on Audit and Accounts Matter was conducted for EEs, SDOs and Accountants/Cashiers in the conference Hall of Chief Engineer’s Office, Water Resources Department recently.

Shankar KR Thakur was the Resource Person for the training. Er. Chubasashi Chang, Superintending Engineer, WRD delivered the welcome and keynote address. There were 43 participants for the training from all divisions of the department.
