Dhawan stresses on ‘importance of education’

ITANAGAR, July 2: The Higher Secondary Section of the Holy Cross School, Nyokum Lapang was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan in the presence of RT Rev. John Kattrukudiyil on Monday. The DC called himself privileged to initiate the new session and stressed upon the importance of education to the students. He said,” Whatever I’m today is because of my parents, teachers and hard work is what matters in life. We should always respect our teachers as they are the guiding force in our life, Prince stressed.

Be a generation of winners, learn how our elders fought with circumstances and emerged as winners and learn to question yourself, question everything so that you can find answers in everything.”

“Your spirit of questioning will take you forward”, Dhawan said.

Later, the DC also inaugurated the higher secondary girls hostel.
