Dhola killings: Dispur cannot shrug off responsibility,says Congress

GUWAHATI: “Just by blaming the media houses, Dispur cannot escape from its responsibility. They must bear responsibility for the Dhola killings,” said Congress spokesperson Rituparna Konwar.

In a communiqué, Konwar said that the Chief Minister has been blaming the media for the Dhola killings just to envelope it own failure. “The media houses are doing their jobs. They cannot be blamed for the tragic incident,” Konwar said.

The spokesperson further said, “Sonowal is no more a student leader. Being the chief minister of the State, he must remain accountable and bear responsibility.”
