Dibrugarh BJP expels district secretary

Dibrugarh, May 4: The district president of Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP), Binod Hazarika has expelled the district secretary of the party, Ranjeet Konwar for alleged anti- party activities. Ranjeet Konwar had contested the recently held Assembly polls as an independent candidate from Lahowal LAC by defying the party’s directives. Meanwhile, Binod Hazarika has appointed Ujjal Kashyap as BJP’s new district secretary.
